This is a photograph postcard received by Esther Richardson. Since this postcard is addressed to Esther in News Ferry, VA I know it dates to post January 1913.

While the postcard is not signed, I believe the card is from Esther’s first cousin William F Elliott, son of C.R. Elliott. Esther received a number of postcards from Will Elliott over the years and the handwriting matches. Will Elliott was also in the military and his postcards arrived from his different stations of duty around the country.
